THE RAGLAN SEAT. [Per Press Association.] NGARUAWAHIA, June 1. At a full meeting of delegates of the Reform League on Saturday, Mr R. F. Bollard, the sitting member, was unanimously chosen as the Reform candidate for Raglan at next election. ELLESMERE ELECTORATE. LITTLE RIVER LIBERALS. On Friday Inst a mooting of Liberals was hold in the Town Hall, Little River, Mr G. Barclay in the chair. It was proposed to get in touch with the other districts of the electorate with a view to unity of action and the securing of a candidate to contest tho scat.. It was also resolved to invito Mr Witty to give an address at Little Rivor. Tho "following motion was carried" That this meeting, viewing with alarm the retrogressive, measures of the present Government, take steps to secure a candidate to contest tho seat in the Liberal interests at the next election for the Ellesmere elctcorate.”
