At the Pleasant Sunday Afternoon gathering in the Grand Theatre tomorrow afternoon Mr W. H. Triggs will deliver an illustrated lecture on the " Oberammagau Passion Play." In the evening the Rev J. Cocker, will preach on "The Conquering Christ." Mrs Nalder, who is now in Christchurch, in the interests of Ramabai's mission work amongst the child-widows of India, will preach in the Oxford Terrace Baptist Church to-morrow evening. The Canterbury Carpenters and Joiners' Union will hold a dinner this evening at 7.30 .at the Foresters' Hall. The annual meeting of the Young Women's National Prohibition Guild will bo held in the W.0.T.1T. rooms on Monday at 8 p.m. At Wesley Church, East Belt, on Sunday evening, the Rev W. A. Sinclair will deliver the third of his series of addresses to young neople, the subject being entitled '' Mv Temptations and Difficulties." The soloist will be Mrs Ernest Firth.
