Aron Hamburger, a Dover Street photographer, has discovered a process called the polychromide, capable of producing photographs resembling beautiful oil paintings. RADIUM AND CANCER. In the report of the Radium Institute for 1913, no cases of cancer are' stated as actually cured, but 56 are described as apparently cured and 183 improved. GERMAN STEAMER SERVICE. BERLIN, May 22. Despite the Government’s disapproval, the Reichstag inserted a clause in the Subsidies Bill empowering the Chancellor to maintain the Norddeutscher service to Australia until 1917.
