-- * RECIPROCITY URGED. [Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND, May 22. The Farmers’ Union. Conference, after hearing Mr Beddoe, the Canadian Trade Commissioner, carried a resolution drawing the attention of the Government to the desirability of encouraging trading reciprocity with Canada. A remark by Mr Beddoe that what they wanted was preferential trade within the Empire elicited loud applause.
