During the debate in the Reichstag on the Army Estimates, Dr Liebknecht, a Socialist, said that at least £25,000.000 was invested in the German armaments industry. He renewed his attack on Krupps, and said that many high officers and officials were personally interested in shipbuilding and armour plate firms.

He asserted that an international ring existed for the supply of explosives, under the leadership of a British firm, and declared that Germany had supplied ammunition for Ulster. Tho War Minister deplored tho injury to Krupps by Dr Liebknecht's attacks.
