NEW SECRET PROCESS

The greatest secrecy is being maintained in regard to the discovery of a process for the preservation of cordite, preventing deterioration in hot climates. The treatment is based on molybdenum (a hard silver-wlu.te metallic element).

In view of cordite losses, the French authorities are inquiring into the deposits of molybdenum in Australia. Within a month the price of the ore has risen from 75s to 110 s a ton.
