Brunsden was charged with haring, between January 13, 1908, and' September, 1909, received sums amounting to 11s 6d from John Morrissey, or from Julian Morrissey, his wife, and failed to account for them to Charles Allison as required. Mr Cassidy appeared for Mr Allison. Mr Cunningham said that the prosecution was a> private one. However, as there was a pressure of cases, he agreed to an adjournment till March 11.—Robert, Dickson Warden was charged with hav- r ing, on March 3, at Avonside, Entered ( the dwellinghouse of John Robert Preece and stolen therefrom the sum of £9 ss. He was remanded till March 11. ' \ . A Serious Charge.— Charles Wallace Adam on a charge • of having at Prebbletcn, assaulted n girl aged fifteen years with intent to commit a criminal offence, and. with having committed an indecent assault, . was remanded until Monday. Bail was } allowed the accused in £l5O and onesurety of £l5O or two of £75 each.
