TO SHEET HOME CRIME.
PHOTOGRAPH OF GIRL’S EYE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. NEW YORK, March 3.
The photograph of the eye of a girl who had been clubbed to death has been taken at St Nicholas’ Cemetery, Chicago, by the police authorities, with the object of gaining a clue to the murderer.
A foreigner named Petres has been accused of the crime. The motive is believed to have been jealousy. Oculists assert that the retina of the eye will probably show the person who committed the crime if visible to the girl before she became unconscious.
