W.C.T.U. CONVENTION.

(Per Press Association.] GISBORNE, March 4. _ Between fifty and sixty delegates arrived in town to-day for the twentyninth annual Convention of the Women’s Christian Temperance Union, and were accorded a civic reception this evening. In welcoming the delegates, the Mayor, Mr J. R. Kirk, urged the Convention' to consider the advisability of differentiation in the education of the sexes, and to make representations to the Minister of Education in support of a change in* the education of boys and girls. The Convention opens for business to-morrow.
