THE DUNEDIN SEATS. [From Ora CORRESPONDENT.] Dunedin, March 4. The Hon James Allen was not to be irawn to-day as to the likely Ministerial standard-bearer in opposition to Mr. Sidey. Ministers, he said, did not appoint candidates but helped the district to find a suitable man and then threw their weight on the side of the approved candidate. So far no definite arrangement had been come to in regard to Dunedin South, but there would be a Reform candidate in< good time.
