DELHI, September 58. The Commissioner of Police at Bombay has forbidden tho performance of Salome and other dances in which the performers are insufficiently clothed. ARMED MERCHANTMEN. LONDON, September 29. Twenty-two merchantmen, including twelve in. the Australian and New Zealand trade are now armed. Their estimated capacity is two and a half million carcases of mutton.
