In connection with tho twenty-five mile r:ad rneo which is being promoted by tho North Canterbury Centro of the New Zealand Athletic and Cycling Union, tho following have each donated e, gold medal to the value of £3 3s towards tho prize fund:—Messrs Adams, Limited,, tho Dunlop Rubber Comparty and tho Continental Rubber Company. Tho reco lias been set down for Saturday, April 12, and tho course will be from Sockhurn to Lincoln and back. At a meeting of tho committee of the Swift Cycling Club last, evening, it was decided to nin the ln c t of tho chib’s series of road races on Saturday. April 5, over a cwelve-mile course, starting from the Coacli Corner.
