MRS GODLEY’S FUND.

MEETING OF LADIES TO-DAY. Mrs Holland, wife of the Mayor, has called a meeting of ladies, which will bo held in tho City Council Chambers at 3 p.m. to-day to discuss the position, in regard to Mrs Godley’s proposal to establish a fund for Senior Cadets’ shooting prizes. It is felt that it is advisable to hold tho meeting before Carnival Week. Mrs Holland wishes it to bo known that tho invitation to attend the meeting is extended to all ladies interested in tho scheme, whether they are members of the committee or not.
