DUNEDIN BAND CONTEST.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —Will you permit me to write a few lines in regard to tho explanation of tho Woolston Band, through their conductor, regarding tho recent band contest held in Dunedin? I would like to hear the president of tho South Island Band Association explain why telephone communication was allowed from the stage to the judge’s box during the contest, as stated by the conductor. of tho Woolston Band in his first letter. I think that is a very important matter that should have been explained before this by the officials of that Association. Hoping to hear tho explanation on that point.—l am, etc., JUSTICE.
