TO THE EDITOB. Sir, —It has occurred to me that part of my letter in Monday's "Times" might he taken to moan that the.wholo of the teachers of North Canterbury wero opposed to the Bible-in-Schools movement. To avoid any possibility of misunderstanding, I should liko to state that at a meeting of the North Canterbury Teachers' Institute, called to prepare remits for tho annual meeting, the following resolution was passed unanimously:—"That this Institute, believing that tho present secular system is the only just system of national education, is opposed to tho Bible-in-Schools movement." —I am, etc., JOHN CAUGHLET. October 14. 1912.
