FIRE ON THE WAKANUI. DAMAGE £3OOO. United Press Arsociation—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright. OTTAWA, September 14. A fire broke out in a hold of the steamer Wakanui at Montreal. Two firemen were overcome by smoke, and wero rescued with great difficulty. The cause of tho fire is unknown. The damage is estimated at £3OOO.
