People whom the gods' wished to destroy they first made mad, and it seemed to him that the hasty actions of the Council were premonitory signs of its destruction. In the Legislative Assembly a Bill to readmit Air Meagher, solicitor, was read a first time. Tho Gas Bill passed through committee. including Air Carmichael’s main amendments.
