The value of goods imported to New Zealand during the quarter ended March 31 was £5,510,689, compared with £4 577,334 in the corresponding 1 three months of 1911. The exports for ■ the same quarter of each year were £8,228,993 (1912), and £8,224,499 ' Customs duties collected during the quarter ended last March totalled £844.911, as against £767,687 for the corresponding quarter of 1911.
