AMUSEMENTS.

THEATRE ROYAL.

The Marlow Dramatic Company produced the melodrama “ A Girl’s Temptation” before another big audience last night, circle, stalls and gallery beang quite full. The piece will be repeated to-night for tho last time, and will give way to-morrow night to “ The Luck of Roaring Camp,” a dramatisation of Bret Harte’s well-known story. This drama, it is claimed, is full of action, is. told in good dialogue, and contains many interesting incidents and situations. The- scenery has been painted from photographs of the actual and identical localities, so as to complete in cverv particular the actual dotails of the life in those mining towns of the early days in California. The box plan is on view at the Dresden.

WEST-WAYWARD PICTURES. There was another large attendance at His Majesty’s Thoatre last evening, when the current programme was shown. The pictures were all well received. The programme of the organ recital which will be given by Dr Bradshaw this evening will include tho first and the last movements of Grieg’s orchestral suite, “Peer Gynt,” the musio to the prison scene in “II Trovatore,” Schubert’s “ Andante con Moto ’’ from tho “ Unfinished Symphony,” Elgar’s “Land of Hope and Glory,” and Mendelssohn’s wedding march. from the “ Midsummer Night’s Dreamt” FULLER’S PICTURES. The Colosseum was well filled last evening, when an entirely new holiday programme was presented. Tho star film was a pictorial presentation of Thackeray’s well-known novel, “ Yanity Fair.” This film is 3500 feet in length. It is magnificently staged, and highclass artists were employed to act the play before the camera. Other pictures which were enthusiastically received by the audience were “Arson at Sea, “ By the Zuyder Zoo,” “ The Old Bookkeeper,” “ Tho Patho Gazette,’ “ Little Maids of China and Japan,’ “With a Kodak,” “Hypnotising tho Hypnotist” and “Tweedledum’s Football.” Tlie entire programme was well worth seeing, and will be repeated to-night. VITA GRAPH PICTURES. There was a fair attendance at the Choral Hall last night, and the patrons were provided with a good evening s entertainment. The same programme will be repeated this evening. OPERA-HOUSE. The feats of Fascia and others who figure in the excellent programme at present being presented at the Opera Houso entertained a large crowd last night. The same bill will b@ repeated to-night.

SYDENHAM PICTURES. Tho Sydenham Picture Palace was well filled last night. The programme.
