A meeting of members of the Sydenham and Addington Working Men’s Club will be held in the Friendly Societies’ Hall, Hazeldean Road, to-mor-row evening at eight o’clock. A meeting of those interested in tendering a banquet to the Hon G. Laurenson will be held in the lower Oddfellows’ Hall, Lyttelton, to-night at eight o’clock. Mr J. J. Dougall, who is a candidate for the Mayoralty, will address the electors of Greater Christchurch in the King’s Theatre to-night at eight o’clock. Classes in wool-classing will be commenced at the Technical College tomorrow evening at 7 o’clock. A meeting of Mr H. Holland’s friends and supporters in his candidature for the "Mayoralty will be held in the Manchester Chambers to-night at 8 o’clock.
