PHIL O'SHEA, the Little Hero, who won the Timaru to Christchurch in 1909, and has ridden prominently in every race of note on a SPEEDY CYCLE, secured FASTEST TIME off Scratch, and Eighth Place in the Christchurch .to Timaru, September 7th, 1911, on his Splendid SPEED Y CYCLE. T. COLEMAN, who won the Marshland Championship on a SPEEDY, secured Third Place. NOTE.—This Race was a Record for the course, being l 6 miles further than last year.
