THE N.Z. WHOLESALE CLUB, LIMITED.

The Wholesale Club's premises in Worcester Street presented a very animated scene on Saturday, the last Saturday in the old premises, particularly in the evening, when the warehouse was crowded in every department, and a big day’s business at wholesale prices was dene. Members and shareholders expressed themselves pleased that next Saturday they would be able to do their shopping at the new premises, where there would bo greater facilities for handling the rapidly increasing trade. Many of tho shareholders were good enough to express sympathy with the management for the manner in which attempts had been made to throw dust in the eyes of the public by interested parties, and congratulated them on their success in suite of tho opposition and boycott of the trade. Applications for shares aro still steadily pouring in. 1988
