It is understood that an amicable I settlement between the League of New Zealand Wheelmen and the New Zea- , land Athletic Union, tho relations be- j tween which bodies have been.consider- , ably strained for some time past, is now in view. Tho representatives of the League will meet the Athletic Union ' in conference at Timaru this evening.
