A crowd of about a thousand people raised a riot in Glenelg on Saturday, when the police attempted to prevent a fireworks display. Two policemen were injured. The mob eventually was dispersed by the free use of the baton. THE DUTCH FLEET. PERTH, November 7. Tho Dutch fleet has arrived. Many of the men indulged in riotous conduct in the streets on Saturday night. BULLFINCH BOOM. Mr Doolotte states that he is not prepared to consider the offer of £1,000,000 for the Bullfinch mine. Mr Hughes states that ho has received no confirmation of the cable message respecting tho Canadian mail service. Ho adds that in tho absenco of such ho must think the Canadian Government has done nothing definite. COMPENSATION. The Railway Commissioners have agreed to pay £2OOO damages in connection with the deaths duo to tho Richmond disaster.
