Dr Camark Wilkinson is establishing a dispensary at Lambeth for the treatment of consumptives. Tho treatment has been successful in Australia, and a six months'-course costs ono pound, and is. therefore, unlike treatment in a sanatorium, available for the poorest patients. Mr Cyril Maude, the actor, stated that Dr Wilkinson had cured his brother in Australia, and Mr Maudo has promised to help the work by giving a benefit matinee at the Playhouse Theatre. Sir Bartle Frere supports the scheme.
