ST PATRICK’S DAY.

[Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND, March 17. St Patrick’s Day was favoured with beautiful weather. The usual procession took place in the city, 3500 children participating, followed by sports on Takapuna Racecourse. A great mauy people went by special trains to the Ngaruawahia Regatta. NAPIER, March 17. St Patrick’s Day was celebrated by n picnic at Farndon Park, under the auspices of the Napier and Hastings branches of the Hibernian Australasian Catholic Benefit Society. About 1600 persons took part.
