[Pick Press Association.] AUCKLAND, April 25. W. J. Stokes, bush contractor, of Karo Karo, near Auckland, is bankrupt. Ho has sworn his liabilities at £17,895. There are ninety-two unsecured creditors for £8395 and two secured creditors for £9500. The securities to tho latter aro estimated at £14,104, tho surplus of £4604 (with stock of timber, book debts and other property) bringing tho total assots to £6877, leaving a gross deficiency of £lslß.
