[Per Press Association.] NAPIER, April 22.. The Colonial Consignment and Distributing Company has received tho following cablo message:—“There is a slight improvement in lamb values. Forequarters of beef have fallen oneeighth of a penny. To-day’s quotations are:—Canterbury mutton, 3gd ; Napier, Wellington and North Island, 23d. Lamb, first quality 4|d, second quality 4|d. Beef, hindquarters 3|d, forequarters 21d.” Messrs Dalgety and Company, Limited, havo recoivcd tho following cablegram from their London office, dated April 21:—“Since our cablegram of April 7 prions of tallow in general are higher by 3d to 6d per owt.”
