Parry, a well-known solicitor, has been arrested on a charge of stealing large sums of money from the property trustees of the Grand Lodge of Druids. VICTORIA’S LIVE STOCK. MELBOURNE. April 22. A return issued by tho Government Statist shows that, owing to the dryness of last year, the shrinkage in livo stock represented a loss of nearly £3,000,000. SIR CHARLES LUCAS. Sir Charles Lucas, head of the Dominions Department of tho Colonial Office, has arrived here. Ho will visit Tasmania next week.
