' [Per Press Association.] WAITARA, April 21. Two wholesale licenses for Mokau anti Awakino were granted by the Licensing Bench to-day. The applications were the result of a decision by the Stipendiary Magistrate in a recent case brought by the police of selling liquor in a prohibited area, which was dismissed, the Magistrate holding that Awakino was not in the proclaimed area. A prohibition representative objected to the granting of the licenses by the Magistrate, but the Magistrate said that the representative had no locus standi.
