ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
[Per Press Association.] THAMES, April 21. A Maori woman named Wateno fell off the train and sustained injuries. When the train returned to the station, some hours later, her husband said that she was all right, and endeavoured to carry her, but she fell off his back and was again injured about the head. She died at her house some hours later. Tbe police are investigating the occurrence. OAMARU, April 21. William Goodall, seventy-two years of age, fell from a dray at South Oamaru this morning. Death was instantaneous. He is supposed to have broken bis neck. DUNEDIN, April 21. Margaret Hutton, aged about sixtyone, living at Ravensbourne, was found lying dead on tho floor of her bedroom at 6.30 this morning. LasL evaning deceased complained to her daughter of pains about the heart, and on going into her room this morning the daughter found her doad. Deceased had not been attended to by a doctor for twenty-one years. At an inquest a verdict of death from apoplexy was returned.
