MOTORING.

Tho Christchurch Cycling and Motor Club has decided to hold a motor-cycle hill-climbing competition and petrol consumption test in conjunction with its reliability trial from Christchurch to Akaroa and back on Saturday, March 6. Already a. large number or entries have been received for the three competitions, and it is anticipated that there will be at least fifty starters. Messrs Adams, Limited, have advised , the club that they will bo pleased to place a motor-car at the service of the officials controlling the competitions. The Management Committee will meet this evening to complete the various details in connection with the trials.
