Ure, Solicitor-General for Scotland, speaking at Cockermouth, said a severe struggle with, the House of Lords was about to begin, but by a single clauso in a single Act, the Liberals could end the Lords’ claims, and instantly restoro tho inalienable rights of tho people’s representatives. The Right Hon R. M’Kenna, and the Right Hon L. Harcourt are also threatening the Lords on the lines of Sir Henry Campbell-Bannerman’s resolution.
