THE ST ALBANS TRAMS.
xo ran jsdhor. Sir, —I wish to draw the attention ol someone in authority to the state of affairs at the tram terminus on Edge-" ware Road. Every evening crowds of: small boys shout and yell around the cars, and hang on when they are in motion, and generally create a nuisance both to -no passengers and the conductors. Some of these days there y will be an accident, and then th«. much-abused conductor will get the blame, when it is the duty of the parems to keep these young hoodlums at home. It is not very nice, when, one is walking to catch the tram, suddenly to hear tho bell rung, and, after rushing breathless on to the oar, -to find it was one of these young hood-' lums ringing wnile the motonnan’s • back was turned for a moment. I am, a frequent passenger by the cars, and a ratepayer. 1 have waited some time, thinking that perhaps the conductor*. would have complained, but they seem to go about their work like martyrs, and their patience is remarkable;' Hoping this matter will be quickly at-/ tended to, as it is quite time the nuisance was abated, —1 am, etc., WAITING URGENTLY. .
