Thursday. The morning was beautifully fine, and the ploughed track, on which ail the work was accomplished, was in capital older. Go.den Cairn was the first out, and .he traversed a milo at three-quarter speed. Watershoot (Harr) defeated Don Orsino (Derrett) by two lengtlis in a spin over seven furlongs, which occupied Imin 32Jseo. GicncuUoch ran a si mlar distance at three-quarter speed, while Ds Witte cantered. Lap.and (karr) and Somaroif traversed a mile and a quarter in 2min 17Jaec, the former showing to most advantage. Cockleshell ran half a I?}*® Slsec, a distance that Rosa Noble (Derrett) completed in 50 l-sseo. Monkey Pu*z.» bru ’-cd over six furlongs in Imm 17Jboo. Ou.uivifo accomplished three-quarter pace exercise over a milo, while bignalman. compassed two circuits' at half speed. Far.ey Grove was going better than Athena at the end of five furlongs, which they ran in Imin 4sec. Tahu and Fandango took Imin 5 2-sseo to complete a similar distance, but the former coiud have improved upon that time considerably. Stronghold’s task was a mile at three-quarter speed, and Chryseis accomplished a working gaLop over a mile and a quarter. Bonnie Glen galloped six furlongs easuy in Imin 22 2-seeo, and Stepdancer (P. Jones) was not unduly hurried while running a mile and a quarter iu 2min 10seo. She finished well, and could have improved upon that time cpnsiderab.y. Aimee Sculy (C. Hack) dashed over five furlongs in. Imin 2seo ; a smart performance, and Ruapehu cast six furlongs behind in Imin 21sec. Lady Zoin spurted half a mile in 50 l-sseo, and Siikweb, with a considerable advantage in the weights, was better than Tessera over six furlongs,- run in Imin 21sec. Harvest, alone, spurted seven furlongs, while Cross Battery, Id as a, Volodia and Disastrous, separately, put in half to steady pacing. , . . After bieakfast, Amhoise and Williwaw spurted five furlongs, and Dueclench (G. Pine) dashed over six furlongs in Imin 14 l-sseo. He finished well, and the performance was an impressive one. Blythemaid, Alexis and Paragon, together, brushed over five furlongs ia Imm ssec. Tho two first-named finished under a pull, but Paragon appeared to be fully extended. GypsobellJ&nia going better than Mango at,-the end of a mile, run in Imin 47|ssc, while The Libyan defeated White Shield by half a length in a spin over flvo furlongs, run in Imin 5 1-dbco. Goodsight, who • started with them, was several lengths in the rear. Canterbury, All Guns and Mercy were companions in a gallop over six furlongs, run in Imin 18 2-ssec. The first-named finished three lengths in front of All Guns, who, however, was eased up, as also was Mercy. Reduction ran half a mile with ridiculous case in 53sec, and Yardo brushed over five furlongs in Imin 4sec. Nikolsky, who assisted her over the last half mile, finished several lengths behind. Salaam and Tremulous, separately, performed light tasks. Elevation arrived yesterday, in charge of J. Farmer, and is quartered at Yaldhurst, where he will do his final gallops for the Middle Park Plate.
