For Dunedin direct, also Australian States, etc., to connect with Manuka, per Victoria, at б. p.m.; late fee letters, 6.40 p.m.; guard’s van, 7.45 p.m. train. • For Northern Ports and Westport, per Moraroa., at 6.33 p.m.; late fee letters, 6.40 p.m.; guard’s van, 7.45 p.m. train. For Northern Ports and Westport, per Tarawera, at 7.20 p.m.; late fee letters, 7.33 p.m.; guard’s van, 10.55 p.m. train. MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 17. For Northern Ports and Westport, per Rotomahaua, at 4.15 p.m.; late fee letters, 4.30 p.m.; guard's van, 5.23 p.m. train. Moils for Tonga, Samoa and Fiji, per Navna, close at Auckland on September 18, at 8.45 a.m. The next mail from the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, is due in Christchurch on September 15. The next best despatch for the United Kingdom is via San Francisco, leaving Christchurch on September 25, and is due in London on October 27. Mails for the United Kingdom, via Brindisi, despatched from Christchurch on July 23, arrived in London on September 8, one day early. Mails for Australian States, etc., per Wimmera, close at Auckland on September 15, at 2 p.m As the inward San Francisco mail will not arrive to-day in time for the morning! delivery- by letter-carriers, a special delivery of tho letter portion will be made immediately the mail is sorted.
