RECONSTRUCTION RUMOURS. [From Ode Correspondent.] WELLINGTON, December 16. I have reason to believe that the question of Reconstruction will not bo touched by the Cabinet till after the holidays.

DUNEDIN, December 16

At a reunion of Mr Arnold’s committee last night Mr Arnold, touching on the suggested Cabinet reconstruction, said the opinion was that this would take place immediately. Every supporter of the Government should be able to feel that each individual member of that Government was equal, if not superior, to himself. Personally, ho doubted whether tho Premier would reconstruct.
