[Pek Phess Association.] ROTORUA, October 26. A man named Andrew Campbell, proprietor of L-xie Edinbuirgli Boardinghouse, gave himself up to the palace to-night, stating that lie hiad shot a man named Hislop. Hislop had gone to Campbell's ' house about seven o'clock, and Campbell, on seeing him there, ordered him. away. Hoolop did not immediately obey, when Campbell procured <a pea rifle and said he would give him the contents, and foruhwith fixed, the bullet entering the forehead and coming out on the top- of the bead. Hislop got to the footpath, where Ee was found by t3ie police insensible. He was removed to the Sanitorium, and is being attended to by Dr Wohlmami. Campbell is in charge of the police.
