The Colonial Consignment and Distributing Company has received the following message from its London office: —"There has been a further fall of id per lb in North Island mutton and first and second quality lamb. Tho following are the latest quotations:—Mutton, Canterburv Napier, Wellington 'and North Island 3|d; lamb, first and second quality, each 4Jd; beef, hindquarters Sfd, forequarters 2|d" Messrs Dalgety-and Company, Limited, have received the following cable message from their London office, dated October 25 :—Since our last telegram prices of tallow in general are higher by 3d to 6d per cwt. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following cable message from their London house, under date October 251—Tallow.—Wo quote present spot ..values for the following descriptions of tallow: —Fine mutton 81s per cwt, 'good beef 27s 6d per cwt, mixed beef 25s 9d per cwt.
