Mr Davey gave notice to ask the Premier whether he is aware that when the old age pension amounted to £1 10s per month, the cost of maintenance of old age pensioners living in Homes controlled by the' North Canterbury Charitable Aid Board had been estimated at £1 10s per month, and that since the increase of the pension to £2 3s 4d per month the rate of maintenance had been worked out at £2 3s 9d, a difference of over 7s per month.
