The following are the results of Saturday’s matches: Waddington journeyed to Greendale and played a draw with the local team, the scores being;—Waddingtoii 84 (Adams 19, T. Lines 16 and T. Colthart 12); Greendale, 78 for nine wickets (C. J. Morland 28, W. A. Wilson 28). The best bowlers were—Morland and Wilson for Greendale, and Lilley took all the wickets for Waddington. Kirwee played Hororata on the latter’s ground, and won by 99 rums. Scores: —Kirwee 153 (R. Wright 45 not out, C. Dixou 33, A. D. Paterson 29, Vaughan 13 and Anderson 10); Hororata, 54 (Savage 30 and Thorne 14). The most successful bowlers were—Thorne, Savage and Woodcock for Hororata, and R. Wright, Anderson and Vaughan for Kirwee. Kimberley defeated Springfield at Kimberley by an innings and 30 runs. Scores:—Kimberley 116 (Stott 31 retired, Scott 19, J. Beaman 16 and L. Beaman 16) } Springfield, 14 and 72 (Newton 11, M’Na© 10). Tho most successful bowlers wore J. and L. Beaman for Kimberley, and Wright and W. Colthart for Springfield.

Playing in the Suburban Association’s Senior matches on Saturday, New Brighton defeated Sockburn by five runs. The scores were;—New Brighton 54 (P. Se-fton 16, Cresswell ] 1); Sockburn, 49 (O. Owles 14, Horwell 13). In a match played at Sockburn the local Senior team defeated Lyttelton by nine runs. Scor>s; Sockburn 52 (0. Timms 16, H. Holmes 10); Lyttelton 43 (G. Wilson 21. W Foster 13). In a Junior match, played at Richmond, Sockburn defeated the East Belt Eleven. Scores:—Sockburn 62 (R. Fairbairn 21); Bast Belt, 21 and 28. The return cricket match between tho Annat and Waddington Schools, played on tho Waddington ground on Friday, resulted in a win for Waddington by an innings and 55 runs. The scores' were’Waddington 76 (Hewitt 35); Annat, 7 and 14. Hewitt, Hodgson and Polo bowled b*st, for Waddington, as did M’Donald and Pinor for Annat. / ■ • A cricket match played at the Kirweo Domain, on Friday, between teams representing the Auctioneers and Dealers and Kirwee, resulted in a win for the latter by 28 labs. The scores

were;—Kirwea 94 (Stott 37, Dixon 16, Scott 15), Auctioneers and Dealers 66 (J. 0. Clarkson 25). Stott and An-dS:?-on for Kirwee, and Fulton, Ballantyne and Stark, for the Auctioneers, bowled best.
