HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES. Fbiday, October 20. EVENING SITTING. After the Telegraph Office closed several messages relating to the passage of Bills were received from the Legislative Council. Sir Joseph Ward stated, in reply to Mr Massey, that the matter of an increase in wages for the lower-grade railway men had been under consideration, and the increase proposed would be announced in the Supplementary Estimates.

The House adjourned at 2.10 a.m, until 11 a.m. on Monday.
