METHVEN. There was a small entry at the Methvcn sale, about: 2000 bead "being yarded'. A large lino of full-mouthed merino- wethers from Mount Algidus, fetched 7s 7d ; a small lot ,of merino wethers 6s 6d, cross-bred wethers (in backward condition) 10s 1 6d, old ewes 9s 7d, sound-mouthed ewes 15s Sd. A few lines of store lambs sold at from 8s 7d to 10s 6d for backward lots, and 12s lOd to 13s 2d for forward sorts. Two three-year-old colts realised £37 and £45 respectively.
