A RAILWAY COMPANY'S OFFER. United Press Association —By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright. NEW YORK, May 6. The Chief Commissioner of Lands in British Columbia states that the Columbia Western Railway Company offered 1 himi 30,000 acres if ho would issue- to it Crown grants for six hundred' thousand acres of valuable coal and petroleum lands' in the Koctenay district. The grants were signed but cancelled. .
