ROAD BOARDS.

MOUNT PEEL. The Mount Peel Road Board met on. Friday; present—Messrs Deanistoun, Then:, Thomson l and Dixon. Adams wrote, asking the Board to provide pipes for an entrance to his land. It was resolved to accede to the request, Mr Adams to do all the labour. It was decided that tenders should be obtained for carting ifonbark timber from Fairlle to the site of the bridge over the Opuha to R.S. 36033-4. The Clerk reported that the annual balance-sheet was ready for the auditor, and that, owing to the flood of last year, the expenditure had been some £550 greater than last year. Accounts amounting to £179 16s lid, were passed for payment. It was arranged that the annual meeting of ratepayers would be held on Thursday, May 7, at 3 pun.
