" Doctor said thoro was one thing which, might do me good—Scott's Emulsion," Life lias a poor lookout when you are too languid to do anything—too languid even to wish to do anything! Such a condition is usually a legacy from ansemia, and if not corrected leads to disaster. Here is-the story of disaster averted :-r----"29, George'Row, Dockhead, "London, England, June 10th, 1901. "Dear Sirs,—Last autumn I suffered verv badly from the effects of anaemia, which--was followed by lung trouble, and [ got into a very weak and languid condition. It was positively too much trouble for me to do anything, as I could not exert myself 'in the least. I had to take- to my bed; yet 1" did not make the slightest progress, 'in October my doctor said there was° ono. thing which might do me good, M MISS M. BOOTH. (From a photograph.) ■and that wag Scott's Emulsion. I acted upon his advice, gave the preparation a fair trial, and am heartily glad to be able to say the results have been most satisfactory, for Scott's Emulsion was successful where eyeryAiing else had failed. I can truly say that I never felt so well as I do now, and I cannot help thinking Scott's> Emulsion has been the means of saving my life. I consider your preparation a wonderfully strengthening and invigorating remedy, and would certainly advise all suf fering from chest and lung troubles to giv<it a trial. / " Yours trulv, " (Signed) (MISS) N. BOOTH." Miss Booth's story is a story often told by those who- write to us —that a doctor prescribed Scott's Emulsion. He could, of course, had he thought wise, have prescribed plain cod-liver oil, or any of the many substitutes and imitations of Scott's Emulsion. But lie did not; he told Miss Bootii that there was one. thing which might do her good—Scott's Emulsion. The doctor, like doctors everywhere who' prescribe Scott's Emulsion, had the best of reasons for prescribing this remedy, because Scott's Emulsion is the highest ajvd most valuable form in which cod-liver oil is to be obtained nowadays. Thousands of doctors admit, this. Then, additionally, all '.he nasty taste and smell of co-a-iiver oil is eliminated by the Scott and Bowne process, and the virtue* of cod-liver oil are .•einforced with hypophosphites of limo and soda, the first of the bono and' tissue builders. If you- are languid, anaemic, listless, and without strength to meet the round of daily cares, take Scott's Emulsion, and you will be quicldv cured. But you must remember what" the doctor advised Miss Booth: that there is " one thing—Scott's Emulsion " —that will help in such cases. To secure the relief Miss Booth had, see that on the wrapper of the there i* x picture of a man .carrying a big codfish; df they are there you havo Scott's Emul You can (Ibtaini a sample of Scott's Emulsion bv sending fourpence to Scott and Bowne, Limited. 183, Kent Street, Sydney, and mentioning this paper. -All chemists sell Scott's Emulsion, ARTISTIC PORTRAITS. - " Ladies and shildien given personal attention.
