MAYORAL ELECTIONS.
It is understood that Mr- John Richardson, the present Mayor of Woolston, has been requested, and lias consented, to stand for the Mayoralty for another term. It is expected that the present Mayor of Kaiap.oi, Mi- J. Daly, will stand ; for a third term of office. - .
Mr W. H. Collins, Mayor .of Ashburton, has received a largely-signed requisition to allow himself 'bo be nominated again for the offioe for another year, "but he declines to stand again.
