The- Sultan lias ordered the release with the restoration to honours of Muley Mahommed, whom the Pretender professes to desire to place on the throne of Morocco. The French officers on leave have been recalled to Algeria. A GERMAN PROPOSAL. INTERVENTION BY THE POWERS. t . ■ BERLIN, Jan. 4. An inspired article, published in Berlin, says that Germany considers it the mission of the Powers interested, namely, Britain, France and Spain to restore order in Morocco, and adds that if diplomacy is ineffective the Powers must agree-to a course of action, but the chief thing is to uphold commercial interests.
