PRESENTATIONS.

A farewell social was held in the West Eyrcton Hall on Thursday night, in honour of Mr Thomas Lawler. Mr Lawler, who has held the position of ganger on the railway for the past twenty years, was the recipient of a well-filled parse of sovereigns from his friends in the district, and also of a handsome case of pipes from a number of his fellow employees. A very pleasant evening was spent, and dancing was kept up till a late hour.
