A committee meeting of the Canterbury Athletic and Cycling Club was held onl Monday evening, when there was a full attendance. Arrangements were made for a shooting tournament to bo held immediately. Billiard matches and ping-pong tournaments were being held weeldy, and had proved a great attraction to the members and their friends. It was decided toj form a cricket team, and to enter for the Thursday competition. Eight new members were elected.
